The Mesa Boogie EL34 Matched Duet. Computer matched by Mesa. Suits all Mesa amplifiers that have EL34 in the output stage.
What about the tone?
Musical tone and produces a rich, smooth, and detailed
tone. This valve would suit vintage equipment as well
as your more modern Mesa amp. The bass is deep and tight and
the mid range sings sweet. Drive the valve harder and
you get that amazing crunch. A bit more drive and the
valve sings nicely without seeming to lose instrument
definition. A great all rounder. The valve will work nicely in all amplifiers that use EL34 output valves and is matched and is matched to Mesa Boogies Bias requirements (no bias adjustment available or necessary in most Mesa amplifiers when fitting Mesa tubes).
