About the tube
What can we say. Our most prestigious Pre amp tube, Tung-Sol.
Thick glass and extremely rugged design and construction.
Large getter ring and multiple mica supports on both top
and bottom of the boxed plates. Higher than average emissions
on our tests. A very well designed and high performance
tube.
What about the tone?
Think JJ Tesla, Electro Harmonix and Shuguang all rolled
into one. These seem to have the mid range smoothness
of the JJ tubes but with these the smoothness extends
to the highs as well. They have the drive and guts of
the Electro Harmonix and finally they have a very balanced
response across the frequency spectrum as do the Shuguang
tubes. These tubes are fantastic and we love em!
