These are the latest valves to come from the Electro Harmonix
stable in Russia. Electro Harmonix needs little introduction
to the guitarist, producing some of the finest valves
for guitar. This is yet another tube to be modelled after
the famous RCA 6L6 Black plate originally used in High
end High gain amps. Electro Harmonix have attempted to
go one step further with this new design by increasing
plate dimensions and improving the grid structure offering
increased power handling capabilities and ultimately a
longer valve life. The mica spacers are supported by metal
springs to reduce tube rattle and microphonics.
What about the tone?
These tubes offer a full on fat sound with a deep tight
bass but maintaining accurate and detailed soundstage.
They break up nicely and offer wonderful smooth overdrive
when pushed. These valves offer a lot of valve for your
