About the tube
Cryogenically treated Tungsol 12AX7 valves. The valves have been subjected to subzero temperatures for several days and then slowly elevated to room temp by a microprocessor controlled system. The treatment has been carried out by the worlds leading Cryogenic specialist lab. Tubes subjected to Cryo treatment undergo a molecular structural change within all the inner metal components which is known to relieve internal stresses and produce a more tactile, smooth and more rugged material. Great tubes made even better with the Cryo treatment.
What about the tone?
We definitely noticed a change in tone after the Cryo treatment was carried out. Customers report the tone to be - 'a lot warmer with fatter mids and good bass tone almost vintage sounding,the top end seems sweeter too'. Again fantastic tubes!
