D'Addario EXP 16 Acoustic GUITAR STRINGS 12-53 longlife.
These strings are my personal choice for acoustic guitar.
They are in our opinion the very best guitar strings money
can buy. We prefer these to any other guitar string on
the market today. They feel good and sound fantastic for
a very long time. The strings are coated with a high tech
microscopic polymer material which slows down the Ageing
and corroding of the strings due to sweat and grime. We
particularly like the sustain and rich harmonics you get
with these strings. Just like the standard Phosphor bronze
in everyway except the tone seems to last forever before
the strings need changing.
They start off quite bright sounding when first fitted
but offer a full, mature, rich sound after about 12hrs
of play and retain the tone for much longer than the normal
uncoated strings. The tension on these seems just right
for most guitars I tried them on. They are easier to play
but without losing the full tone of the heavier gauge
strings.
